Order Processing
Once your order is placed, we'll carefully prepare your plants for shipment. Processing times may vary depending on the season, weather conditions, and plant availability.
You'll receive an order confirmation after your purchase, followed by a shipping confirmation with tracking information once your order is on its way.
Shipping Schedule
To help ensure your plants arrive in the best possible condition, orders are typically shipped Monday through Wednesday. This helps avoid packages sitting in transit over the weekend.
During periods of extreme heat, cold, or severe weather, we may delay shipments until conditions are safe for your plants.
Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the plants in your order and your delivery location.
Delivery
Please verify your shipping address before completing your order. Once your plants are delivered, we recommend unpacking them as soon as possible and following the instructions on our When Your Plants Arrive resource page.
Plant Availability
Because plants are living products, availability may change throughout the season. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we'll contact you with the best available options.

📦 Unpack Your Plants
Carefully unpack your plants as soon as they arrive. Remove any packaging around the foliage and gently separate the plants from one another. It’s normal for plants to look a little wilted, bent, or tired after their journey they just need a little time and care to perk back up!
💧 Give Them a Drink
Check the soil as soon as your plants arrive. If it feels dry, give them a thorough drink, allowing the water to reach the entire root ball and drain freely from the bottom of the pot. If the soil is already moist, there’s no need to water immediately just continue checking it daily while your plants acclimate.
☀️ Let Them Rest
After their journey, your plants need a little time to settle in. Place them in a protected spot with appropriate light, away from harsh afternoon sun and strong winds. Keep the soil from drying out, and give them 2–3 days to acclimate before moving them into their permanent location.
🌱 Plant Your New Plants
1. Prepare the planting hole
Dig a hole about 2 times wider than the root ball, but no deeper than the root ball itself. Loosen the surrounding soil so new roots can easily grow outward.
2. Plant at the proper depth
Place the plant in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with the surrounding soil. Avoid planting too deeply, especially with shrubs and trees.
3. Water thoroughly
After planting, water slowly and deeply until the entire root ball and surrounding soil are thoroughly moist. This helps settle the soil and eliminates air pockets around the roots.
4. Add mulch
Apply a 2–3 inch layer of mulch around the plant to help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature. Keep mulch a few inches away from the plant’s stems or crown.
