Cape Cod Boys | Iris
Cape Cod Boys | Iris
Born from the gardens of Massachusetts hybridizers Marty Schafer and Jan Sacks, ‘Cape Cod Boys’ was introduced in 2009 and named with the beauty of Cape Cod in mind—blue bay waters, sandy beaches, and the sweeping curve of the coastline. Its large, dappled blue-violet blooms are finished with a warm golden-yellow signal, creating a beautiful contrast that feels both coastal and timeless.
A standout Siberian iris, ‘Cape Cod Boys’ is a vigorous grower with strong foliage and a long midseason bloom, with rebloom possible in favorable conditions. Its exceptional performance earned it the Morgan-Wood Medal in 2021.
