About This Plant
Delicate clusters of soft pink blooms cover this compact, low-growing rose from late spring through fall. Its petite, spreading habit makes it perfect for edging pathways, filling borders, planting in containers, or adding a romantic touch to small garden spaces. Easy to care for and wonderfully floriferous, it brings a gentle wash of color throughout the growing season.
Planting & Care
How to Plant
Choose a spot with 6+ hours of direct sun. Dig a hole twice as wide as the pot. In colder zones, set the graft (knobby base) 1–2 in below the soil. Allow good air flow around the plant. Water deeply after planting and add 2–3 in of mulch, keeping it off the stems. Hardy in USDA zones 4-8.
Watering & Feeding
Water deeply 1–2 times a week for the first season, about 1 in per week. Keep soil evenly moist, especially during heat and dry spells. Water at the base, not the leaves. Feed with rose fertilizer in spring and after the first flush of blooms; stop 6–8 weeks before your first frost.
Pruning & Seasonal Care
Prune in early spring when forsythia blooms, removing dead, damaged and crossing canes. Deadhead spent flowers for more blooms. Mulch in late fall to protect roots through the first winter.
